Sunny skies will warm things up into the mid-60s in the Upstate while western North Carolina peaks in the upper 80s.
Winds in the Upstate will be gentle out of the north northwest between three and eight miles per hour. Mountain towns will see a northwest flow between 10 and 15 miles per hour with winds gusting as fast as 20 miles per hour or more at times.
Another chilly night approaches as temperatures fall into the low 40s and mid-30s under a starlit sky. The pattern of warm days and chilly nights will continue well into the work week with the next chance of wet weather arriving Thursday.
