Sunday will be cold to start but warm up nicely under mostly sunny skies. Expect highs to climb into the low 60s across the Upstate while western North Carolina peaks in the upper 50s.
Winds will ease up significantly, mainly flowing out of the south between five and ten miles per hour area-wide.
Sunday night will be cold and chilly, falling into the mid-40s across the Upstate and upper 30s in the mountains.
Warmer temperatures will return to start the work week as a low pressure system gear up to bring showers back to the Carolinas by Tuesday.
