UNION, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Union man is in custody after deputies say he vandalized a car to get back at his ex-girlfriend.

The Union County Sheriff's Office said 36-year-old Timothy Lee Trammell was spotted crouching in a store parking lot beside a car with the word "Cheeter" painted across the passenger side.

According to the incident report, Trammell told deputies he was mad at his ex-girlfriend and wanted to get back at her. The woman told officials she wanted to press charges for the damage.

Deputies said after placing Trammell under arrest, a search revealed controlled substances for which he didn't have a prescription, marijuana inside a hand-rolled cigarette and a fake $100 bill printed with "For motion picture use only."

An investigator is looking into how how Trammell got the bill.

He was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, simple possession of marijuana and vandalism of property.
