When police arrived, they discovered white paint had been tossed onto the monument known as "Fame."

(AP) - An autopsy shows a former ECU football player shot to death in a restaurant parking lot had 19 bullet wounds. Media outlets report an autopsy released Wednesday by the State Medical Examiner's Office says 24-year-old Anthony Domonique Lennon was hit by at least 18 bullets outside a Raleigh restaurant in June 2017.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - The widow of a man fatally shot by an undercover North Carolina police officer is suing the city. Media outlets report the family of Josue Javier Diaz filed a lawsuit Friday against the City of Charlotte and the officer involved.
