Expect Saturday to usher in a bit of relief with cooler temperatures and sunny skies. Highs will climb into the low 80s throughout the afternoon across the Upstate while western North Carolina reaches the upper 70s.
Winds will continue to be breezy in the Upstate, flowing out of the north and east between 15 to 20 miles per hour. Wind gusts can reach as fast as 20 miles per hour.
Father’s Day will be pleasant for dad with plenty of sunshine and highs making it into the low 80s and upper 70s once again.
Hot temperatures will return by Monday of next week while sunshine sticks around. Rain chances will return along with a cold front on Wednesday.
