Lows overnight will get a bit cool, falling to near 60 degrees in the Upstate while western North Carolina dips into the low 50s.
Father’s Day will be absolutely gorgeous with plenty of sunshine and highs reaching the low 80s in the Upstate and upper 70s in the mountains.
Winds will predominately flow out of the east between 5 and 10 miles per hour in the Upstate. Mountains will see a southeast wind between three and eight miles per hour throughout the day.
Sunday evening will be cool once again, falling into the low 60s and mid-50s. Monday will warm things up a bit, reaching the low to upper 80s during the day.
Expect a warming trend to continue into mid-week. A cold front will arrive Wednesday, beginning an unsettled pattern for the western Carolinas.
