Most memorable story: There are so many memorable moments during my time at FOX Carolina. I started my news career at a time that is quite possibly one of the most memorable and historical years in South Carolina's history--from interviewing presidential candidates, to covering stories about the Clemson Tigers going to the National Championship, and being there during floods that impacted the entire state in October 2015.

But, of all these memories, there's one that stands out the most. It was June 18, 2015, the day after the Charleston church shooting. After getting a tip that Dylann Roof had been caught in North Carolina, I immediately jumped in the car and drove to the jail where he was being held. As he was walking out, I inched my way to the front of the commotion and just as I did, I was no more than foot away from an accused mass murderer. I looked into his eyes and couldn't believe I was that close to someone accused of doing something so horrible.

That day made me realize I couldn't imagine being in any other career. In news you get to the see the best, and the worst, and all sides of humanity--and I get to tell those stories to you.
