GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Greenville Police Department is teaching local kids about their trusted four-legged friends – K9 police dogs.

Master Patrol Officer Loftis and Officer Keopke with the Greenville Police Department brought their K9, Valor, to the Bobby Pease Community Center Wednesday to give the children there a lesson.

According to the department’s Facebook, the intent of the session was to show children the role a K9 plays in the police department and in the community.
