GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Local businesses are honoring the officers who lost their lives in Dallas by thanking those who serve the Upstate each day. Sticky fingers,Vic's Pizza and Garner's are some of the Upstate businesses who are showing their support for those in uniform.

"The country is really hurting. We've been hurt a lot here lately, so when people come together its a big deal," said Austin Mccord.

Austin Mccord owns Vic's pizza in downtown Greenville, and says a customer called in and placed a pizza order for the Greenville police department. The order was paid for in full, and this inspired Mccord to also give back by matching that donation.

"We have a lot of regular customers that are wearing those uniforms and we really have a lot of respect for them. They put their lives on the line everyday and we appreciate them. That's why Vic's Pizza is doing this," said Mccord.

Vic's Pizza will continue to show their support for law enforcement throughout the week. If a pizza order is placed for an officer, Vic's will throw in the toppings on the house, and wave the delivery fee.

A few miles down the road is another Upstate business that's showing their support for law enforcement.

Garner's in Easley offered their support by holding up signs reading, 'cops lives matter', as honking drivers rode by.

John Garner says he wants to get the entire community involved, by showing their support for those wearing blue.

"Nobody ever stands up for the cops. All lives matter, including cops. They have a life too, everybody matters," said Garner.
