SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Spartanburg deputies will honor Dallas officers killed during a protest on July 7.

The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office will hold a Fallen Officers Remembrance Ceremony honoring the Dallas Police Department on Monday, July 18 at 6 p.m. The ceremony will take place in the main sanctuary of First Baptist Church, 250 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC, 29306.

Sheriff Wright and Reverend Wilton will speak at the ceremony, and there will be a performance by the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Detention Honor Guard. The ceremony is free and open to the public.

The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office ask for the presence of the public to support this memorial in remembrance of Dallas, TX police officers killed in the line of duty, as well as their surviving family and friends.

Those wishing to donate to the families of the five slain officers and the surviving victims can contribute through Assist the Officer.
