SENECA, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies say an Upstate woman is in custody over drug charges involving two babies.

The Oconee County Sheriff's Office reports that Brenna Michelle Graham, 20, of Knollcrest Drive in Seneca, SC, was arrested Friday afternoon on two counts of unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine in the presence of a minor child.

According to reports, deputies conducted a welfare check at the Graham residence just after 10 a.m. this morning, after receiving a tip. Deputies say they observed drug paraphernalia in plain sight upon making contact with Graham. Reports also state that deputies discovered two children, ages 11 months and 1-month-old, inside of the residence.

Deputies say after obtaining a search warrant, they found multiple methamphetamine labs inside the home. Reports say the two children were taken into Emergency Protective Custody as a result of the search, and were turned over to the Department of Social Services, where they are being placed in a safe environment.

Graham was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center around 2:30 p.m. on a Temporary Custody Order until warrants were obtained Friday, charging her with two counts of unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine in the presence of a minor child. Graham remains in custody as her bond hearing is pending.

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing the investigation.
