New details released in woman's death at Greer apartment complex

GREER, SC (FOX Carolina) -

FOX Carolina has obtained new information through the Freedom of Information Act into the death of Lori Williams, 42, who was found dead inside her Greer apartment on April 25. 

The report shows Williams was found by her daughter, laying on her left side, on the living room floor of her West Chase Apartment. The Greenville County Coroner's Office says Williams was likely dead for anywhere between one to four days before she was discovered.

The report shows Williams cause of death as pending, her manner of death as pending autopsy and injuries as pending too. Greenville County Coroner Parks Evans told FOX Carolina News shortly after Williams death that they found several wounds on her body and called it a suspicious death. 

Greer Police Administrative Lt. Jimmy Holcombe said through an email, "This is an open death investigation and investigators are actively working on the case."

On Wednesday, the Greenville County Coroner's Office confirmed Williams suffered blunt force trauma to the head and extremities. The manner of death is undetermined.

The investigators is ongoing.
