Sunday will be absolutely gorgeous once again with a mix of clouds and sun to continue the holiday weekend. Temperatures will start off on the mild side but quickly make a run for the mid-80s in the Upstate while western North Carolina peaks near 80.
Typically around this time of year we see highs peak near 86 degrees in the Upstate and near 80 degrees in the Mountains. So expect seasonable heat to linger throughout the weekend.
Winds will remain light, courtesy of high pressure. Look to see winds out of the north and east between three and eight miles per hour.
Temperatures will drop Sunday evening, dipping into the low to mid-60s.
Labor Day looks to be wonderful with plenty of sunshine to go around and highs in the low to upper 80s.
Temperatures in the 90s return Tuesday with small storm chances returning late next week.
