Anglers hit water for bass fishing tournament on Lake Keowee

SENECA, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Hundreds of South Carolina anglers hit the water this weekend in hopes of reeling in a big one.

The PBC High School Tournament kicked off at Lake Keowee on Saturday.

Boats went out beginning at 6:30 a.m. Weigh-ins began at 3 p.m. at the South Cove County Park.

Organizers said 210 teams registered for the tournament, which was 100 more than last year.
