Posted: Updated:
GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

After a cloudy start to fall, we will see sunshine return Friday and this weekend. A front will approach Sunday to help drop temperatures for next week and bring a chance for showers.

Friday will bring morning clouds, but some afternoon sunshine to warm things up. Highs will get to 85 in the Upstate and 82 in the mountains.

Saturday will be sunny and HOT for this time of year. Expect highs in the upper 80s for the Upstate and mid 80s in the mountains, which is well above the norm for this time of year. The normal high for the Upstate is 81 and normal for the mountains is 75.

By Sunday a cold front will approach from the northeast, bringing some clouds and some cooler temperatures going into next week. We’ll see rain chances increase late Sunday into Monday.
