Rock Hill college closed due to road rage incident; campus secure

ROCK HILL, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Rock Hill campus of York Technical College closed at noon Friday due to an investigation into a road rage incident.

School officials said the college's public safety was working with officers to investigate an unconfirmed claim that is potentially serious.

The campus will remain closed for the rest of the day. A spokesperson said the safety of students and staff was of utmost importance.

Just after 1:30 p.m., officers said they cleared the scene after investigating a verbal road rage incident that ended on campus. The Rock Hill Police Department said the campus was secure.
