UST Logistical Systems plans to relocate its corporate headquarters to downtown Greenville as part of a $1.6 million investment that will bring 50 jobs to the Upstate, according to Gov. Nikki Haley’s office.

“We couldn’t be more excited that UST has decided to establish its headquarters in South Carolina,” Gov. Nikki Haley said. “This $1.6 million investment, and the 50 jobs it means for Greenville County, is a real reason to celebrate across the state, and we look forward to a long-lasting partnership with one of the newest members of Team South Carolina.”

UST, established in 1998, is a logistics company that specializes in the delivery of furniture and appliances from a retailer’s warehouse directly to a customer’s home.

UST handles home delivery operations for several major store chains including Conn’s Home Plus and hhgregg.

The company’s new corporate headquarters will be moved to 103 North Main Street in Greenville.

“We are so pleased that UST Logistical Systems has chosen to relocate its U.S. corporate headquarters to the city of Greenville and we look forward to welcoming the UST family to our community,” Greenville Mayor Knox White stated. “This announcement is all the more exciting because it further demonstrates the team effort of our economic development partners and allies to showcase the city as a place where business gets done through cooperation and collaboration.”

Hiring for new positions will begin in late 2016.
