An Amber Alert issued for a North Carolina toddler early Tuesday morning was later canceled.

Investigators said 2-year-old Nevaeh Richardson was abducted by an unknown male. She had been last seen at an address on Nashville Road in Rocky Mount, NC.

Nevaeh is two-feet tall and weighs 28 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.   The child was last seen wearing a white t-shirt with a rainbow on the front.

The NC Department of Public Safety later stated that the Amber Alert had been canceled and that Nevaeh had been found safe.

There was no word if an arrest was made in her disappearance.
