GHS Children's hospital dedicates playrooms in honor of Walmart, Sam's Clubs

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Greenville Health System Children’s Hospital officially dedicated the playrooms on the fifth and sixth floors of the hospital to Walmart and Sam's Club.

Walmart and Sam’s Clubs made a long term commitment to the hospital and have raised $10.5 million for the GHS Children's Hospital, hospital officials said.

State Representative and House Majority Leader Bruce Bannister; Dr. William Schmidt, chairman of pediatrics and Medical Director of GHS Children's Hospital; and Sean Real, Walmart regional general manager, were among the many hospital and Walmart officials present during the dedication ceremony.
