The Greenville Police Department said two suspects are in custody after an armed robbery.

Officers said around 11 a.m., a victim caught a man and woman stealing items from his mailbox. According to police, the victim followed the suspects to Grey Street where he confronted them.

The male suspect, identified as 27-year-old Justin Edward Mcleod, reportedly pulled out a folding knife and tried to stab the victim. He then got into the car and drove off with a female suspect in a burgundy truck.

The female suspect was identified as 26-year-old Dianna Breeze Strickland. Strickland was previously charged in a rash of 2015 auto break-ins.
