Prayer vigils for Townville to be held at 3 Greenville Co. restaurants

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

An Upstate anti-violence group and a Greenville restaurant owner will host a three-night prayer vigil for the victims of the Townville shooting, starting on Thursday.

Jack Logan, founder of the Put Down the Guns Now Young People organization, said the vigils will begin at 7 p.m. each night at three different Bikas Drive-In locations.

On Thursday, the vigil will be at the Bikas located at 1810 Blue Ridge Drive, Greenville. Friday’s vigil will be at 598 Pendleton Street, Greenville. Saturday’s event will be at 2818 Wade Hampton Boulevard, Taylors.

“All three nights will be prayer vigils and the public can eat free,” Logan said. “We are bringing people together to pray for Townville, SC.”
