Oconee County High School players pay tribute to Townville

The West Oak and Pendleton football teams paid tribute to those affected by the Townville Elementary school shooting.

Before the two teams played each other Friday night at West Oak High School, the Oconee County Sheriff's Office flew Ranger One over the stadium,

The game ball was delivered to student body president.

Players from both teams walked onto the field with arms locked to each other.

West Oak High School's principal, Kurt Kreuzberger said, "That tragedy rocked our whole community. The opportunity to come together to show support, love and concern for educators, families and for parents, children, "explained Kreuzberger, "It was just something small we could do."

The Townville Fire Department collected donations for Jacob Hall at the game.
