FOUNTAIN INN, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Blood Connection will be taking blood donations on Saturday at the Aunt Het Family Festival in Fountain Inn. Donors can request that their blood be donated for Jacob Hall.

Jacob is in critical condition after being shot at Townville Elementary School on Sept. 28. Hall and another first grader were shot, along with a teacher.

The annual Aunt Het Family Festival is named for the Aunt Het cartoon by Robert Quillen that appeared in the city’s newspaper between the 1920s and 1940s.

The festival will be from 9 to 5 p.m. and will feature food, vendors, and a classic car show, according to the Fountain Inn Chamber. Admission is free.
