Sunday will bring yet another gorgeous Fall day as highs peak slightly above normal once again. Expect plenty of sunshine to start the day as a fall like chill starts the day.
Highs will peak in the low 80s across the Upstate while western North Carolina reaches the middle 70s.
Winds will remain light and variable as clouds remain few and far between. Expect another chilly night to creep in late Sunday into Monday.
In the tropics, Matthew is maintaining category 4 strength early Sunday morning as it began its trek northward toward Haiti and Jamaica where it’s expected to make landfall early Monday morning.
It’ll continue to barrel toward Cuba and the Bahamas by midweek, and there’s still some indication that it could still impact the Carolina Coast in some form or another by next weekend, but it’s still pretty early in the game to nail down the exact path.
Be sure to check frequently in the days ahead for the latest on the track.
