GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

An Upstate anti-violence group will be collecting flowers for the family of Jacob Hall on Sunday afternoon in Greenville.

Jacob, age 6, died Saturday after being shot on the playground of Townville Elementary School on Sept. 28. Another student and a teacher were also shot but are recovering.

Jack Logan, founder of the Put Down the Guns Now Young People organization said he and members of his group will be in Falls Park from noon until 4 p.m. Logan is asking people to bring flowers and cards for the family as they cope with the loss.

“We just want to do anything we can to show this family that they are loved right now,” Logan said.

Logan said Put Down the Guns Now Young People would deliver the flowers and cards to the family Sunday evening.
