A mix of sun and clouds is expected to start the week, with highs warming into the low 80s Upstate and upper 70s in the mountains throughout the day.
Winds will start off relatively light and stay that way throughout the afternoon, mainly flowing out of the north, so you can expect little humidity.
Look to see another cool night approach as lows fall in the mid-50s to near 60 degrees overnight. Tuesday will be cooler but still pleasant with highs closer to normal for this time of year in the 70s area-wide, with plenty of sunshine.
Matthew remains a very powerful Hurricane in the Caribbean Sea, tracking north towards Haiti and Jamaica. It will likely maintain strength as it approaches Cuba and the Bahamas and pushes north throughout the work week.
As of the latest forecast track, Matthew still looks to track over the northern Bahamas before making more of a westward movement. It is still a very long way out and the certainty on the track is low at this time. We'll have our eye closely on the Carolina coastline toward Friday and Saturday for possible impacts.
