UNION, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies in Union County said a woman was arrested after she intentionally hit another woman with her car on Sunday.

Deputies said they met with the victim at the hospital, who told them Tabatha Walton struck her with the car after an earlier dispute about a cell phone and a drug sale.

Deputies tracked down Walton and said they noted front end damage to a yellow Ford Mustang the suspect was driving. Methamphetamine was found in the car, deputies said.

Deputies said Walton was charged with possession of meth with intent to distribute, operating an unregistered vehicle, and driving under suspension.

Deputies said they were consulting with the solicitor to determine the appropriate charge for hitting the victim with the car.
