Pearls & Pumps breast cancer benefit returns for third year

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Bon Secours St. Francis Health System Foundation will host the third annual Pearls & Pumps event on Tuesday in Greenville.

The event will benefit the Pearlie Harris Center for Breast Health, organizers said.

Festivities begin at 4:30 p.m. at the TD Convention Center, and will include a fashion show; a guest appearance by Kathleen Swinney, the “First Lady of Clemson Football”; and a keynote address by cancer survivor Beverly Bell of Greenville.

The evening also includes a shopping event featuring 50 local vendors and dinner.

"Bon Secours St. Francis Foundation is honored to host this fun evening of shopping and dinner with friends while celebrating our survivors and their fight against breast cancer,” St. Francis Foundation Director, Karri Westmoreland said . “The funds raised will assist those in need with mammograms and ultrasounds in the battle against breast cancer. Bon Secours St. Francis Health System stands committed to providing high quality, compassionate healthcare in a faith-based environment."
