After admitting to sexually abusing a child, an Inman man will spend decades behind bars.

According to reports, 44-year-old Cecil J. Quinn Jr. pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor.

Back in September of 2015, a relative of the 10-year-old victim reported the crime to the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office. During an examination, the child described the crime in detail to an interviewer, even giving descriptions of tattoos on Quinn's body. The 10-year-old also reported that Quinn made her watch pornographic videos with him.

Before pleading guilty, reports say Quinn had denied the allegations when first questioned by a deputy, and accused the young victim of lying.

Quinn is required to serve 85% of his 20-year sentence before he is eligible for release, and he will also have his name added to the Sex Offender Registry.

His prior criminal record includes convictions for third-degree burglary, common-law robbery, resisting arrest, obtaining property by false pretense, breaking into a motor vehicle, failure to stop for a blue light and resisting arrest.
