Mega Millions ticket worth $2 million sold in Upstate

EASLEY, SC (FOX Carolina) -

An Easley convenience store has sold a Mega Millions ticket worth $2 million for Friday night’s drawing. 

The Spinx at 1402 E. Main St. in Easley sold the lucky ticket, which matched all five white ball numbers drawn to win $1 million. The ticket holder purchased the Megaplier for an additional $1 to see the prize multiplied to $2 million.

The winning numbers are 24, 37, 42, 50, and 65. The Megaball is 14.

The South Carolina Education Lottery said ,ore than 11,400 players in South Carolina hold tickets for prizes from $1 up to $2 million from Friday’s drawing. 

Players have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.

The Mega Millions® jackpot for Tuesday night’s drawing is an estimated $49 million.
