Cooler and drier air has taken over across the Carolinas and Matthew is long gone. Quiet and seasonably cool weather will stick around through the week.
Dry and pleasant weather is in store for clean-up efforts along the coast as well. There are no more threatening tropical systems out there, as Hurricane Nicole is heading north to Bermuda.
Your Wednesday will shape up sunny and comfortable. with highs in the low to mid-70s.
It gets warmer on Thursday with highs in the mid 70s for the mountains and near 80 degrees for the Upstate. We’ll see clouds increase this weekend as a front approaches, and that will help to knock temperatures down a few degrees for Saturday and Sunday, but no rain is expected.
