Troopers said an Easley woman died after crashing into a tractor trailer Tuesday night.
The crash happened on US 123 at the intersection of SC 124 in Pickens County just before 11 p.m.
Troopers said a tractor trailer was turning right onto 124 when a Chevy sedan struck the truck from behind on 123.
The driver of the Chevy was entrapped and had to be freed from the car.
Pickens County Coroner Kandy Kelley said the driver died during transport to Greenville Memorial Hospital from blunt force trauma.
Kelley identified the driver as 21-year-old Mary Gorman of Sunningdale Court, Easley.
