Deputies to bike from Greenville Co. to coast to benefit Special Olympics

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Cyclists from the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office will travel from Greenville County to Charleston during the three-day Law Enforcement Torch Run “Cliffs-to-Coast” event to benefit the Special Olympics.

Master Deputy Ryan Flood said deputies are riding to spread awareness of the Special Olympics and raise $10,000 for the next Special Olympics games.

Deputies will depart from the Law Enforcement Center on the morning of Oct. 19 to begin the three-day trek.
