GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Two years after a hit-and-run claimed the life of a Greenville County teenager, the case remains unsolved.

On Oct. 13, 2014, 16-year-old Isaiah McGuinness was reportedly walking along White Horse Road near Lily Street around 5:10 a.m. when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver fled the scene, leaving Isaiah to be hit by multiple other vehicles before succumbing to his injuries in the roadway. He was identified by DNA evidence.

The teen, who was from the Berea area, was laid to rest after a funeral service at City View Baptist Church on West Blue Ridge Drive. His family invited the public to pay their respects.

No arrests have ever been made in connection with the case. Troopers said tips still trickle in and they have been pursued "to the fullest extent possible" but so far, the investigation has been unsuccessful.

Troopers believe a late 1990s black or silver Lexus LS-400 sedan may have been involved in the incident.

A reward is still being offered for tips leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for Isaiah's death.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.  Tipsters can remain anonymous.
