DUNCAN, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Traffic is moving normally again on I-85 South near Exit 63 after a crash involving a motorcycle, a pedestrian, a construction vehicle, a tractor trailer, and a car Friday morning.
Troopers said the crash happened just after 6 a.m.
Troopers said the accident started when a motorcycle struck a construction company lift that was parked on the exit ramp. A good Samaritan got out to assist, and another car was rear-ended by a tractor trailer, which caused the pedestrian in the roadway to get hit.
The pedestrian was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
The motorcyclist was airlifted to the hospital.
Troopers did not know the victims' conditions but did not believe the injuries to be life-threatening.
All three southbound lanes were initially shut down after the crash. The leftmost lane began moving again shortly after 7 a.m.
