Duke Energy has restored power in Anderson County along Abbeville Highway after a two car collision turned one car on its hood and affected power lines.

According to the outage map, 27 customers were without power as of 12:28 a.m. Saturday.

Highway patrol troopers also reported a wreck on Abbeville Highway at Acker Road.

The incident reportedly happened just before 11 p.m. and had blocked the roadway. Injuries have also been reported in the incident.

The Homeland Park Fire Department was on scene of the collision. Firefighters told FOX Carolina that two cars were involved in the accident and both drivers were transported to Anderson Hospital. No passengers were in the vehicles.

Firefighters said Duke Energy was at the scene working on the power lines in the area. The power in the area has since been restored.
