New Cut Rd. reopens after truck freed from bridge

SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

New Cut Road was blocked in Spartanburg Monday morning after a tractor trailer got stuck under the low railroad bridge at Howard Street, emergency dispatchers said.

Troopers responded and deputies helped direct traffic in the area while crews worked to free the truck.

The truck got stuck around 7:45 a.m. troopers said. Crews were able to free the truck just before 9 a.m.
