ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

EuWe Eugen Wexler US Plastics, Inc. is expanding its manufacturing operations in Anderson County as part of a $5 million investment that is expected to create more than two dozen new jobs.

According to Gov. Nikki Haley’s office, the automotive supplier will expand its facility located off of I-85 at Alliance Industrial Park in Anderson and create 29 new jobs over the next five years.

The EuWe Group was established in 1968 as a supplier of metal products and later added plastic offerings. Today, the firm employs more than 1,700 workers in three countries and exclusively supplies for 10 of the world’s largest automobile manufacturers.

EuWe announced it would make an $11 million investment to create its first U.S. manufacturing facility in Anderson County in 2015. This new $5 million addition will allow EuWe to meet increased demand from its customers, according to a news release. The Anderson County plant produces automotive plastic interior parts.

Hiring for the facility is currently underway at the company’s jobs page online.
