PISGAH FOREST, NC (FOX Carolina) -

San Diego County deputies said they arrested two Transylvania County suspects accused of stealing a car and kidnapping.

Upstate deputies said they were searching for Erin Lashea Hogsed, 21, and Jonathan Antonio Richardson, 27, both of Pisgah Forest. The two were charged with armed robbery in the larceny of a motor vehicle and second-degree kidnapping on Saturday, Oct. 15 after an incident in Pisgah Forest.

Reports said that Transylvania County Sheriff's Office gathered information during the investigation that led them to advise San Diego Law Enforcement that the pair may have traveled to the San Diego, CA area. Richardson was considered armed and dangerous.

On Wednesday around 10:24 a.m., a San Diego deputy spotted a stolen vehicle in connection with the NC case in which the two fugitives were accused of crimes at Harrah's Casino in Valley Center.

Harrah's Casino security personnel along with Valley Center deputies and members of the Sand Diego Fugitive Task Force located the couple and safely took them into custody without incident, shortly after.

Richardson and Hogsed were booked into the Visa Detention Facility on warrants for their charges out of North Carolina and will remain there until they can be extradited back to North Carolina.
