Police seek suspect in armed robbery at Greenville gas station

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Greenville Police Department received reports of an armed robbery on Tuesday afternoon.

Officers said an employee at the Exxon station at 2760 Laurens Road called to report the robbery just after 12:15 p.m.

A man wearing a black shirt and black pants reportedly entered the gas station, displayed a firearm and took cash from the register. Officers said he fled toward Mauldin in a gray or silver SUV.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to contact Greenville police at 864-271-5333.
