Clinton, Trump make stops in North Carolina on Thursday

CONCORD, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump will campaign in North Carolina on Thursday, trying to win voters in the battleground state ahead of Election Day.

Clinton and Trump are neck-and-neck in the polls in North Carolina, but many show Trump leading slightly.

Clinton will make stops in Winterville and Raleigh, where she will be joined by former presidential candidate Bernie Sanders and recording artist Pharrell Williams.

The Winterville event will begin at 3:30 p.m. in the Edward and Joan Warren Building at Pitt Community College, located at 4302 Reedy Branch Road. The Raleigh rally will begin at 7:45 p.m. at the Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek, located at 3801 Rock Quarry Road.

Trump will be making three stops in the Tarheel State, in Jacksonville, Concord and Selma.

At noon, Trump will speak at the Jacksonville Equestrian Center, located at 13611 Normandy Boulevard.

At 4 p.m., the GOP contender will speak at Cabarrus Arena, located at 4751 NC-49 in Concord.

Trump’s final campaign stop of the day will be at The Farm, located at 215 Batten Road in Selma.

Trump's running mate Mike Pence will campaign in North Carolina on Friday as part of a multi-state swing, and President Barack Obama will campaign for Clinton at a stop in Fayetteville.

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 8.
