PENDLETON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

All students and staff from Townville Elementary School will continue to heal together with a trip to Denver Downs on Thursday, officials from the farm said.

The 300 kids and 60 adults will get to enjoy a free visit to the farm and enjoy meals provided by KFC of Anderson. Private citizens, who wished to remain anonymous, paid for the cost of bus transportation for the event.

The school is continuing to heal after deputies said a 14-year-old gunman opened fire on the school’s playground, injuring three students and one teacher. Six-year-old Jacob Hall later died from his injuries.
