The chill settles in for this weekend, bringing frost to the mountains and seasonably typical temperatures for the Upstate. Drought conditions will likely worsen as no rain is expected for the next several days.
Sunny skies Saturday will help temps warm into the upper 60s for the Upstate and low 60s in the mountains with a light northerly breeze.
Sunday will be really nice for getting outside as well. It will start chilly again in the 30s and 40s, then warm up to 75 for the Upstate and near 70 in the mountains.
The beautiful, fall weather will carry into next week with chilly overnights and warm afternoons. The extreme drought will persist, but there is some minimal hope for rain mid and late week as models are depicting a disturbance moving in from the southwest along with a cold front from the north. There is still a lot of uncertainty, but we will keep our fingers crossed while keeping you updated!
