TOWNVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Batman, Batgirl and The Hope-Mobile are returning to Townville to continue sharing the message “Turn Pain Into Power,” said John Buckland, aka Batman, founded of Heroes 4 Higher.

Buckland and the Hope Mobile, a replica Batmobile with nameplates to memorialize children who lost their lives to illness or other tragic circumstances, visited Townville after the shooting at Townville Elementary.

Buckland, as Batman, delivered a eulogy at Jacob Hall’s funeral.

Hall, 6, died after being shot at the school.

Two other students and a teacher were also wounded.

Buckland said Batman will return in late November and participate in several events in the Upstate.

“ Due to the overwhelming response from the community during the last visit for Jacob Hall’s memorial and celebration of life; and in light of the recent tragic events in your community locally, we want a return visit that will uplift, empower, and help inspire the community kids and adults to turn the painful events into a powerful force of empowerment, hope and solidarity.”
?-Buckland stated in an e-mail.
