Nearly 500 Duke Energy customers without power in Upstate after car damages equipment

SENECA, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Duke Energy is reporting that nearly 500 customers are without power in Seneca after a car damaged equipment Monday night.

The outage was first reported at 9:35 p.m. and is expected to be restored by 7 a.m.

We have reached out to Highway Patrol regarding an incident in Oconee County that may be related to the outages.
