For Fox's Four Legged Friends I chose Louie! I chose him because he is a senior dog needing a good home to live out the rest of his years. Here is what Karen from Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue has to say about him!
Louie is a sweet senior boy who is looking for his furever home. Louie is about 9, he is blind and has had 1 eye removed due to glaucoma. With Louie being an older fellow, he does have a bit of an issue with incontinence, but his foster mom has a system in place that is working for him.
Louie came to BRBR about 5 years ago, found as a stray in the Upstate. He was blind then. Louie was adopted about 4 years ago but came back to BRBR last spring as his family could no longer care for him. Louie is the sweetest boy, loves all people, gets along great with other dogs, cats and kids. He is house-broken, crate trained and walks well on a leash. Being blind doesn't stop Louie! He is a very happy boy, ready to find his furever home.
When a dog is adopted from BRBR, if for any reason their family can no longer care for them, they always have a home with BRBR. Click here to apply to adopt Louie: Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue
