UNION, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Union man was arrested Wednesday after deputies were called to a CVS pharmacy in reference to a possible kidnapping.

When deputies arrived at the store on Rice Avenue, Union city officers had already detained two people in a car, including the suspect, 34-year-old Teddy Mull.

The man who had called 911 to report the kidnapping was found in the store.

According to incident report, the victims told deputies Mull had come to their home Tuesday and held them captive with threats of violence. Mull reportedly threatened the couple with an unseen gun, a knife, a baseball bat, and held a syringe to one victim’s neck at one point.

Deputies said they found one hypodermic syringe in Mull’s pocket and two more in his shoe.

Mull was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication.

Deputies said they were still investigating the kidnapping claims.
