INMAN, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies said there could be more victims after a man was arrested for exposing himself at an Upstate park.

Spartanburg County deputies said they've arrested 52-year-old Stephen Lee Johnson of Inman for indecent exposure after an incident that occurred Sunday at Van Du Mar Park in Boiling Springs.

Deputies said that on Sunday around 5:38 p.m., they responded to reports of a sexual exposure at the park. According to reports, dispatchers informed deputies that the victim was an armed concealed weapons permit holder and had been chasing the suspect in a vehicle before returning to the park to wait for law enforcement.

Upon arrival on the scene, deputies said they spoke to the victim who said he was walking the nature trail when he noticed a man following him with one hand in his jean pocket. The victim told deputies he felt uneasy so he took his handgun out of its holster and put it in his pocket as he walked behind a tree.

Reports say the victim told deputies that when the suspect approached him to make small talk, he noticed the suspect had one hand under his shirt rubbing his belly, with his pants slightly lowered, exposing himself.

According to reports, the victim pretended to be using his phone and was able to record the incident. The victim told deputies that when he told the suspect to zip his pants up, the suspect complied but continued to follow him as he walked away.

The victim told deputies that when he asked the suspect why he was following him, the suspect replied that he liked the victim's legs and wanted to have oral sex with him. According to reports, when the victim told the suspect he was calling the police, the suspect took off, and the victim chased him on foot, before the suspect sped away in a 2000 Toyota Tundra truck.

Deputies later identified Stephen Johnson as the suspect and arrested him. He was charged with indecent exposure.

Investigators with Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office Special Victims Unit have asked that Johnson's arrest be made public because they believe there may be other victims that have not come forward and reported incidents.

Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact Investigator Jonathan Kent at 864-503-4604.
