GREER, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A group of Upstate students took time outside of their normal classroom teachings to ‘Feed the Need’ on Monday.

Students at Calvary Christian School in Greer hosted a ‘Feed the Need’ fundraiser at 8 a.m. in an effort to provide funding for a much needed gym and school technology. The event was the school’s largest fundraiser to date.

In order to further their efforts, students along with other volunteers packed about 10,000 meals that will be shipped to Haiti.
