Annual Festival of Trees to benefit Foothills Alliance gets underway

ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Foothills Alliance’s annual "Festival of Trees" gets underway on Wednesday at the Anderson Civic Center.

The Festival of Trees serves as a fundraiser for the organization, which provides services for sexually abused children and adults in Anderson and Oconee Counties.

Festivities begin with a preview brunch from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Wednesday. Tickets for the brunch are 430.

Free public viewings will be offered from Wednesday through Saturday. This year’s display features a Christmas store, Christmas tree packages, holiday décor, photos with Santa, children’s craft area, and more.

An auction will be held Friday at 6 p.m. Tickets for the auction are $45.
